Boot Requires Vista DVD
The way it's done is to repair Vista's startup with the Vista DVD. If you can't figure out how to delete C:, download a boot disk http://www.bootdisk.com/ and format C:, being very careful to respect Vista's partition - don't format that. Then boot from the Vista DVD, find repair, and tell it to repair startup.
